Leah Andreone
Born in San Diego in the spring of 1974 into your average American home, Leah was a shy child who found outlet and connection through music, both writing and performing. In many ways notes, melodies and harmonies became her personal language...her own expression for dealing with the world and its touch.
When one thinks and speaks in song, it's no surprise - in fact, quite sensible - that one should follow a musical career. And through a combination of hard work and chance, Leah did just that.

I'm still very much looking forward to new music by this American singer. Her lyrics are interesting (for example, the song Happy Birthday is written from the viewpoint of a baby in the womb) and musically, she covers a wide range. The album Alchemy is much more experimental than Veiled, but it's great when artists dare to step away from their previous style and try something new. This made me very curious what her 3rd album would sound like, but alas, nothing but silence so far. Her voice can be a bit nasal, I'll admit, so some people will find this off-putting. Howeve - r, - if anyone knows about Leah's future plans and/or albums, please let me know! |
