Dear prasoon:

Why? Why is he the best?

Well....... - since - he sold more albums than ANYONE ELSE for the entire decade of 1970-79, with spritually themed music in which the artist refused to endorse the status quo, ("If it feels good, do it
now."), seeking instead to make a btter day. I think I've answered my own question, which is:

When John Denver died, were all his Masters slated for final destruction in his will? Has America forgotten their folk singing hero of the 70s? Ask anyone
under 30 to name three John Denver songs, and wait......(waiting.. - ....). - I've rarely seen a musician/movie actor blackballed this way. What gives? Is my town just an anti J Denver black hole. After all, Buddy Holley was from here, but Denver went to
Texas Tech (also here, as well as John Hinckley later), while Meatloaf was at Lubbock Christian College before them all. (1971 or 72).

So, why is John Denver so ignored, just because he's dead?
