She’s that good. Second, she’s one of those artists who takes her fans on a new journey with every new album. She doesn’t stick to a particular genre, but covers bluesrock, soul, motown, folk and even some country. It’s all done effortlessly. It’s all gorgeous. But it also challenges the listener to open up to a new Joan Osborne with every cd she releases. It’s never love at first sight, it always takes a few spins before you start to ‘feel’ the music. But once you do, boy, you’re in for a treat. |
