the Latin duodecies, what you have here as two times, translates into "twelve times". This should be fairly obvious based on the context, since the bells ring out 12 times for the hour of midnight.
I think that the English translation if the song mitternacht by e nomine is realy helpful because before reading the English translation of the lyrics I didn't understand what anything meant exept from mitternacht which I knew meant midnight. Thank you
