Industrial is good music
Some of my favorite bands in this category would have to be Celldweller, Zeromancer, Ministry. I'm not too much into Marylin Manson though....too many cover songs.
I like VNV nation better, however they can better be labeled as Futurepop/Synthpop with Trance influences. I've seen them live at Summer Darkness '06, very impressive!
