oooh!!!!
Tired of your parents? You don't get tired of your parents over a girl, do you?
I think they've every right to ground you, because you sound so stupid. Grounding is what'll do u good for now.

Hmm, well, my guess is that your mom is thinking long-term, and that you are not. While you are wondering whether your present girlfriend makes a nice date for the night, your mom is wondering if she is good enough to give birth to her grandchildren one day :-).
Good luck though. It's an akward phase.

Just a little advice...
Whatever you do, try not to shout back to your mom. It's a sign of frustration and lack of control. Staying calm will make you the rational one.

But it's very easy to say this from a distance, of course :-)

Thanks but no thanks...
I don't understand you human beings. Someone yells at his/her mother and some kick their daddys' asses.. Come on all you crazy people, they are your parents, aren't they? No matter what they do to you. How can you possibly forget all what your parents have done for you, like they fed you when you were young, they sent you to school, they wiped your tears when you cried and how can you forget that they also wiped the shit off ya whenever you did it!

(Oh, let me wipe that tear in my eye.)

Don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to encourage anyone to fight with their parents. It's just that shouting doesn't help a lot, so if someone stops shouting, the other person will likely calm down too. Also, when it seems you can talk about things in a rational way, you are more likely to reach an agreement with the other person.

So good luck caringkiller09, and here's a tissue for you, charwello :-)

Maybe you should educate yourself some, Charwello.

During the "adolescent stage" in life, it's normal to argue with parents... it shows separation, "independence," and what not. Not to mention, not everyone has the ideal life of growing up under a warm household with understanding/caring parents.

And no, I am not just saying this because this is what I think. I've been exposed at a young age due to my mom's work/study in psychology and the likes, and her profession in the “human services” field.

And for one, I don't think your arrogant sarcasm is constantly needed-- I percieve you as being tremendously ignorant. It becomes rather annoying and old. ...Assuming that you are older than me, grow up. This is a "hint" for: If you absolutely MUST respond to this, I don't need your crude and nasty mockery.

Here's the White Flag!
But kid(caringkiller09), make sure you listen to a song titled "Its cool to love your parents" by Fiest(Leslie Feist)... It's also one of my favorite songs.
You can find the lyrics here...
