	Guest wrote on 13th Jun 2010, 4:56h: High violet continues the National trend of greatness. It is a little more experimental than previous efforts, but beautiful none the less. It seems a little darker than their last couple albums, but I can think of no better album to close your eyes to and just drift off. Absolutely a must have for any fan. I wish more bands like this was actually what was pushed on us in the mainstream. But more than a gem for the few of us who enjoy music for the beauty of what chords can compose.
