Mushi

Mushi is Danish alternative pop with influences ranging from Cabaret, Western and Balkan. Mushi’s music doesn’t sound like anything else on the Danish music-stage. His style is catchy, a touch of melancholy pop/rock with a great deal of western/Balcan/folk/cabaret and a pinch of salsa. But - and that is important - it is always on the move. The album Unfairytales is imbued with catchy refrains, use of untraditional musical instruments and never-ending surprises.

His music is characterized by its versatility and the international feel.

I only have the first album, which is missing a song and some track names, but I can already say with certainty that Mushi creates fantastic music that's different than what one might be used to hearing. Giving some songs a listen is worth the time and
money! My only problem is that I can't find ANY information on Mushi :[ (And when I do, it’s typically written in Danish. :c ) I've read that Mushi is a band to a single male artist using a pseudonym…? =/ In any regard, I’m glad to have finally
discovered a decent artist/band (?_?) out of all the mainstream music.
