Guest wrote on 25th Oct 2006, 17:41h: The thing with a lot of 'rock/metal' nowadays, is that it all seems to sound the same. Bands like Metallica, Korn, Guns n Roses, these bands had their own sound, a sound other bands tried to copy, but never quit managed it. Chevelle, in my opinion, join these bands, up there in a unique place. Wonder what's next, is truly an awesome album, that ive not stopped listening to since i bought it. they are a 3piece and ive got their live dvd too and i was amazed at just how powerful they sound live. my aim is to see them whenever they play in england. The music is in places quite simply structured yet as powerful as a hammer to your skull!!! the lyrics are cutting, biting, but so well worded. Chevelle are a band that EVERYONE must listen to. They are the 1st band in a while to impress me so much!!!!! |
