Dimmu Borgir

Blending black metal's most brutal tendencies, the melancholic beauty of opera, and industrial metal's production techniques, Dimmu Borgir carved a niche in the metal world as one of the most savage and creative acts to hail from the Norwegian scene. The group first started in 1993, when members Shagrath (vocals), Erkekjetter Silenoz (guitar), and Tjodalv (guitar and drums) came together to join the emerging metal scene.

@ Wolf: I care! Should be great to have genres here. About Dimmu Borgir: I have no idea! :-)

Exactly what I've been thinking... creepy.

Regardless of what metal genre(s) this band falls under, never has any metal music (save maybe for some lesser obscene ones) found a spot in my heart. Honestly, I cannot even begin to comprehend why people
like Dimmu Borgir's music.

For one, I find it all intensly hideous. The music is far from decent and the vocals... Sorry, but I must say that I find them entirely appaling.

I'm merely expressing my opinion and if I had anything nice to say about
them, I would. But alas, I don't.

This band is so awsome. Who cares what genre of metal they are. As long as they scream and scare the crap out of me, I like it.
